It's beginning to look a lot like...
Christmas, oh Christmas. I'd love to be able to say our Christmas time is full of wood-burning fires, hot cocoa, relaxing family time, home cooked meals, and writing letters by candlelight. I'd also like to be arriving home by horse and sleigh wearing my full gathered skirt and petticoats. But we live in America....21st Century America. I will settle for my Avonlea Christmas movie (watched religiously every year). I swear I was born in the wrong century..sigh. Amidst all the holiday "cheer", we are truly enjoying this very first Christmas with our Madeline.
To be a bit sentimental for a moment, I am reminded how truly truly blessed we are. We have fantastic, loving and supportive friends and family. But, admittedly...I have favorites. These two, this one picture...a thousand words could be said.

More to come of our Christmas festivities and fun! (as soon as I can get these larger files to load successfully!) Merry Christmas and love to all!

And the winner is...
Maddie of course! Her favorite way to greet Daddy when he gets home from work - with a tackle. Who wouldn't love to end their work week being tackled by her??

A Day in the Life...
I decided to follow Maddie around the house with the camera the other day.
What a busy little lady!
Starting with the exersaucer - who needs to get in it when you can have just as much fun going through it?!?!
On to the toy basket (and out of our pjs)...
FYI - the standing position was acheived all on her own!
Next, we eat the toy basket. You wan't some Mom?
Onward we go, to the family room. To the TV cabinet.
Concentration is how we get this door open.
Success!
Don't forget the remote.
To eat the remote that is.
Thanks for joining us around the house today!
